The universe collapses in on itself, then
The galaxy collapses in on itself, then
The solar system collapses in on itself, then
The Earth collapses in on itself, then
The country collapses in on itself, then
The county collapses in on itself, then
The city collapses in on itself, then
The building collapses in on itself, then
The floor collapses in on itself, then
The apartment collapses in on itself, then
The room collapses in on itself, then
The person collapses in on itself, then
The mind collapses in on itself, then
I laugh hysterically, because it was so predictable.

A little experiment with abstraction, repetition, and equivocation. Hope you enjoy!

Makes me think of The Big Bang only as simple as the domino effect! -Nice!!!

Astonishingly good, this one really appeals to my sense of the profound and humour - I think its the blatant spelling-out of its predictability at the end.

I like things on a cosmic level and this drabble works very well. Good stuff as always, Brandon.

Very enjoyable Drabble, reminiscent of a Russian doll; all descending lay smaller and hollow until that solid indivisible finality.
