The sound would fill the club late at night. The hypnotic, energetic sound of jazz from the band playing, as the people would sit or stand listening to its every sound and permutation. Warping and changing, along with the people who would down drink after drink. The inebriation would only heighten the sensation. The people could all feel the music in their bones. They won't care if it sounds good in the daytime or not. Right now, it was the best the sound they'd ever heard. The sound of the night, the sound of the previous day leaving them forever.

Strangely poignant, and I love the way the music is the catalyst or portal for it. Excellent.
