She calls,
'V get up!!'
Can't be late! The sheets play merry go-round and a dramatic fall!!
'V you and your Chaplin routine, you're such a mess!'
I head off with the checklist
I double-check, else she will haunt me
Coffee, Flowers, Candy Floss, Salt Treats- Check
A bottle? Nah! I'll be the only drunkard at the end.
She was waiting there for me, she always is...
I finally join her on our spot and hand the bouquet of asters, the vivid colors filling my eyes, savoring her sweet jasmine scent that plagues my mind.

I am trying to write long or connected drabbles. But after the last series, I may not keep readers engaged till the end. How did I fare in this?

I haven't read the other two but at first read my impression was heading off to put flowers on someone's grave. It will be interesting to see if I've gotten the wrong end of the stick.

It's not obvious at all. That was just a vague impression upon first reading. And we at Drablr are known for misdirection, so you can't always take first impressions at face value anyway.
