Are you a published author?
Next question!
Any prior writing experience?

Nice one, Verity. What I love about the Drablr site is that it’s open to all, of none or lots of experience... nobody cares which and there is so much positive support through the voting and even better, the comments exchange. What disappoints me is the huge number of supposed drabblers on the site who seem neither to write their own, or read those here who are fully engaged. Because the more one writes, the better one’s writing skills are likely to become.

Hey Verity, I thought you said you didn't have much of a drabble introduction story . :-))) Loved your account above and the framing it as a poem. ;-)

I agree, Neville.
Jamie, I just had one line, zero experience and inept to writing longer stories showed me my only hope Drablr!
Glad, you'll liked the version.

And I'm always game to the colorful critique comments, so please do share. Rather, I pitch as this is your free chance to hone and sharpen the inner critique tongue and your eagle-eyed observations to the drabbles posted in this account.

Very nice, Verity. This is a great place to hone your writing skills. It forces you to be economical with your words. And the community here is wonderful. There are a few of us that stick around no matter what. We might wander off for brief periods, but the Drablr Sirens are always luring us back onto the rocks.

Many Thanks, Christopher! Those sirens and Miss Killer both are on my case :-) I don't know when I'll be able to cough the next drabble
