break like Brittle
melt like Chocolate Sphere or Gelato
be soft like Pudding or Beignets
sound like Pretzels or Rocky Road
talk like Tulumba or Turkish Delights
be tall as Croquembouche
be deceptively simple like Tiramisu or Panna Cotta
reveal layers like Baklava or Mille Feuille
cram as Éclair or Cannoli
be scrambled like Eton’s Mess
be caught dribbling at Lemon Meringue Tart
be as ordinary as Pancakes and Waffles
be the twin of a Brookie
be baptized as Pavlova
I wish I was like a Trifle, Cheesecake, Cinnamon Rolls
But I’m the Devil’s Decadent Chocolate Truffle!!
