Albeit, a deceptively simple foreground, the portrait itself was widely satiating. Imagine a two hour hike and two week short window of your invertebrate subject's presence; Countered by a 24 second time frame to capture the near perfection picture.

What would it take a tree come to life in a dark night?
It’s the magic of fireflies. Their bioluminescence covered every branch of the tree. It appeared to be dusted in gold, was a sight to marvel.

It’s a truly stunning picture which I would never have seen but for your drabble Verity. Thanks very much for that. And now I know more about fireflies too.
