“How Dare You?” I screamed quite loud in my head, to the devil in heels. Infamously-my boss.
We were in tandem over a project. I was immersed in my canopy of thoughts. She asked me to come to her “Lair” and we had a tedious conversation.
Nah, not the end of it. It concluded rather with one thundering blow of work and nicknames.
Guess who doesn’t get to enjoy their Friday night?
As I exit, I see an improvement. Realizing, I should join her therapist too.
Note on the door, “Thank you, for tolerating my Temper, Tantrums and Tongue.”

It takes a lot to shout at your boss and it’s not normally my way, except once, when apparently I scared the shite out of my boss’s boss as I walked out slamming his office door behind me. I felt great! And later, he asked me to help him with a book he was writing! The only way to deal with bullies is to bully back! I endorse Jamie’s comment, Verity, very glad you are on Drablr. Look forward to reading more.

I had an experience with my old boss where I must've blacked out because I don't even remember it. My sister worked at the same place and he yelled at her to the point she cried and when he went back to his office I followed him and slammed his office door behind us and apparently I read him the riot act. He talked about it later but I have ZERO memory of doing that. That scares me to think I got so angry that I blacked out. At least he didn't fire us for it.
