“If you have to ask for advice about whether or not to do something,” on of them said, stirring her gin and tonic. “Then you already know you shouldn’t do it.”
It was only ten in the morning, but they’ve both been drinking since they woke up.
“It’s a snow day,” they told themselves, popping ice cubes from the tray and slicing limes.
They watched cooking videos. Game shows. Pulled out board games from the closet, but abandoned them shortly after opening the boxes.
“I think I’m going to do it anyway,” the other said. “It’ll make me feel better.”
