Watching birds

My hide wasn't as perfect as I would have liked but hoped it would provide enough cover to observe without discovery. The sudden burst of warm sunny weather had really brought the birds to the waterside, putting on a stunning display. I edged as close as I could get without spooking the delightfully beautiful little creature.

I got quite a bit excited, I confess, but was careful not to blow my cover and ruin everything.

I downloaded the camera images to my laptop and mailed one to my friend, with the message, "Hey Charlie, check out the bazookas on her!"
