"Splendid catch, Henry."

The host smiled as he refilled their two snifters. "There it stood, by the water's edge, crystal clear in the evening sun's glow, a light breeze in our faces, when we finally tracked it down. I nodded to my trusty guide who'd brought us there at the perfect moment. We moved in stealthily for the kill; it was Protected, and listed, of course, but there it was in my sights."

"Did I tell you, Mother and I just bagged a brace of semi's?"

"Not yet, but Caroline and I have now had our fill of house-hunting."
