"Dad," the young boy asked, "how do you learn about technology?"

"Well," his father answered, "you can read, but you learn more by getting hands on. Tinker with it, dabble with it, and eventually you'll figure it out."

The boy went back to the device he had found, and tossed the instruction manual aside. Hands on was better than reading. It had labels like c, G, h, e, and other symbols he didn't know. Curiously, he turned the knob under G all the way up. A moment later, the gravitational constant increased and the earth condensed to a black hole.
