They met quite by chance without actually meeting at all, thanks to a web that covers the world.
An ocean and five hours separated them, afternoons being mornings and evenings for the other.
They'd heard each other speak, but had never had a conversation, united and divided as they were by a common language.
They were both writers and they had tapped into respective seams of ideas, creativity and friendship.
They were two individuals striving towards a common goal with their endless projects - piles of poems under beds and a million Word documents.
Fate was telling them that collaboration beckoned.

Cross cultural, cross ocean collaboration a must! Five hours of separation, instantaneous cross-fertilisation. I hope I get to read some of the output.

Bless you for that. Think internet wonderful tool but also easy to lose time on it X

Thanks, Tim. I love the opportunity to read great stuff here at Drablr from great writers...and what's so good about drabbling is that, given their brevity, it's easy to read a whole range of styles for a few minutes' time investment.... although it has also to be said that I often squander my time resources trying to think up new ones. :-(
