Tweed-clad, bespectacled librarian, Ms Hamilton-Somerville was fastidious in the maintenance of traditional values and standards. That was why the advent of the internet in her library, and the attraction it had to the local, ill-disciplined youths, appalled her and needed addressing.
Today was exceptionally pleasant despite the three youngsters sitting quiet and still at their terminals.
She had grown, in her quaint cottage garden, the rare plant which provided the virulent neurotoxin she had administered via pipette into the free cokes the kids noisily accepted.
Her beautiful books had taught her that. She didn't need the internet.
