Another morning routine, each thing had to be perfect from matching clothing to the perfection of a spotless sink.

Driving or commuting, just another decision! Easy, no parking!
Loathing the commute into the city, he could almost see the airborne germs. There's always a payoff.

Giving the false smile or nod to each ordinary face was another unpaid thing toward the weekly paycheck. Especially knowing his work far exceeded his worth.

Upon leaving, his boss presented him with a cornered widow office, doubled raise and bonus!

All lost to a step too quick leaving, in front of the evening bus.
