The stars aligned, and the great city arose from the depths of the mid Atlantic in all its cyclopean glory. Merely to look upon it with naked eyes, to try and comprehend its twisted geometries, invited madness.
So the ever creative humans switched to two dimensional T.V. to filter out the weird dimensional anomalies. Admittedly in 8k Ultra High Definition of course.
So when the great Cthulhu arose from his deathly rest, and stood under the open skies of Earth; many gasped and wrung their hands.
When he launched into the sky and disappeared however, the rest cried in relief.

Keep your geometry simple, that's the human angle.

Great drabble, Jeff. H.P. Lovecraft is one of my favorite writers, so the re-emergence of the Cthulhu is always welcomed (at least in print!).

Thanks Christopher :) I thought it'd be funny if, after all the "It's going to destroy the world!" stuff, that he couldn't be arsed and just went off to deal with the elder gods. I mean, what would anyone do on their first day out of prison?? ;)
