The sky was as black as coal. The land was shrouded in mystery, and as I lay here in that darkness I add wonder to the enigma.

Staring out into the night sky, clouds clear. Stars peek through the mists, shining their light on the cold ground. Photons, billions of years old, bounce and cavort. Spinning, reflected and refracted, through the cold dew clinging to the long grass they shine; lighting the field.

Above, the clouds clear to present the majesty of the Milky Way. Viewed, upon the backdrop of the Universe, as a jewel set in a precious ring.
