Full of energy. That was a few days ago. No, not me!... him! I can spot the signs. You might call it ‘creeping listlessness’, if such a condition exists.
‘Creeping’, that’s part of the problem. It’s kind of difficult to spot while it’s happening, because it creeps... and unless you have a brilliant memory, you don’t spot the day to day deterioration.
But today... it was clear. He started out OK, or so I thought. But I could tell it was all too much effort! He couldn’t do the job properly. I saw the (red) light.
Time for a recharge!
