Now you see him; now you don’t!

We’re people-watchers. We find people fascinating. And at the folk festival we were spoilt for choice, peoplewatchingwise!

Being a folk festival meant there were many unusual folk wandering about... none more unusual than folk musicians and singers! Perhaps the most interesting was a man wearing a camouflage patterned kilt, with long grey hair hanging in a ponytail.

Was he a soldier, a Scottish soldier? In hiding? If so, he seemed to have marched a wee bit too far Sooth! But it was the guitar strapped to his back, not a knapsack, that suggested he was part of the show!

It certainly was! Most of the music was very good and there was a stack of talent on the village green stage (there were lots more stages dotted around the small village). Folk music is not my usual choice of listening, but the event was a great village meeting and eating (and drinking) event. Social village glue!

Sounds like an interesting time.
