The pirate captain took many a life with his slashing sword and knife.
But day was easy, just evil and sleazy, but night brought inner strife.
He fell asleep, alone and no help, ugly dead things in rags would yelp, in a dream world where forbidding blackness would spread.
A malevolence then appeared to him, it cackles and "I'm your death knell" it said.
His dreams showed him a tortuous end, he raced out and climbed up the ship in dread.
The next day a pirate does the first round, finds the captain strung up in the ropes and dead.
