White

Such a price we pay for beauty
Says the spider to the fly
Such a price we pay for youth
So that we me never die

Malediction and unholy sanctity
Says the demons of the winter
Edifice so demeaning
We bleed from wounds without suture

Despite what you might think
I didn't turn away from god
He cast me out from heaven
Because I called him a fraud

This city of bones and ash
This ghost town full of cast out souls
This world of endless suffering
Where the crying damned howls

I stand before you broken
Just like you.
