When we noticed our world is not real

36 years ago, they launched Voyager 1.
"Hey Mike, what do you think it is out there?"
"What do you mean?"
"Uh...Out there...Outside of our solar system."
"Who knows?"

He looked at the calendar on kichen wall, picked up the ringing phone. "It's been more than thirty years." He thought, and answered the phone
"Mike. It's me."
"Uh, you know I am retired, i don't want connection with NASA anymore..."
"Today is the count down."
...
"...3, 2, 1, the Voyager escaped...from sol...boom"
Cheers all around control room stopped before started.
...
"Mike? What happened?"
"There's...nothing? Nothing?"
Tears shed.
