World of books

by

Julie and Dave had never had a garden so when they bought their first house Dave's mum got them a copy of "How to be a Gardener". That spring the Japanese Knotweed sprouted by the fence. Dave bought a strimmer and cut it each weekend. It always came back. They gave up and Titchmarsh went to the charity shop.

Mavis's husband had always been the gardener so when he died she bought a book. The postman left it by the recycling box. By the time Mavis got home, the first shoots were already sprouting from a crack in the path.

Haunting in an understated way... ;-)

A lazy gardener would appreciate that. There’s always a job.
