The Final Kick

If the Panthers had another turn at kicking a field goal, or at least another dash on the five-yard line. They had to stop wishing, dreaming, and squandering with perfection. But coach had to be right! The last few seconds were running out, the fans were worried-sick, no?
The kicker was ready and proud to play his final kick. Then, it happened when he kicked the ball between the tacklers, and inches from the posts! I see, did he make it? I check the score! Victory for the Panthers! I thought it great to bring home a win.
