Quick fix

The Saint was stumped for an answer before the guest who demanded for the box that had been given in the custody of the saint. The saint’s daughter who had been listening to this conversation asked for the permission to resolve this matter. She said to the guest, “You came with your companion and a box and imposed this condition that the box should be returned only when both of us come together and I agree that my father made a mistake by giving it to your companion; so bring the other and get the box as per the condition.”
