It was a gloomy doomsday afternoon. I was sitting at the entrance to our family underground bunker, waiting for my mother-in-law and getting antsy. At last, her car pulled over.
She waved to me and glanced at the sky. Instantly, her wrinkled, droopy face distorted with horror. She let go of her belongings and rushed toward me, gasping for air.
I glanced at the sky, smiled and promptly sealed the lid to the bunker from inside, just in time before all Hell broke loose.
Alas, the poor thing didn’t make it. My lovely wife will be very disappointed.
