'I wouldn't be telling anyone about that if I were you. The farmers around here
won't take too kindly," he warned. I had just bragged to my neighbor that
I had a solution for raccoons hanging around the cottage. I had success with marshmallows and a live cage trap which I would take down the back roads
and eventually, miles later, open and release.
"Next time you catch one, bring it over to my place. I don't have a problem." He lived on the lake year round. A practical man.
I was curious.
"I'll take care of it," he winked.
