"I need a six-letter word for consent to receive. Ends in e-p-t," Mike said.

"Accept," replied Rebecca.

"Except what?"

"No, accept is the word you're looking for."

"It can't be except. X couldn't be the second letter."

Rebecca looked surprised. "X isn't the second letter. It's C."

"See what?"

"The letter C!"

"I don't see any letter because I haven't written the word down yet!"

Rebecca looked frustrated. "Accept is the word. With A."

"With a what?"

"Accept is the word you're looking for, as in Accept the fact that I'm done helping you with crossword puzzles!"
