Samuel and his wife Elizabeth were arguing over where to have dinner. They finally settled on Ruby Tuesday. After bickering in the car for 20 minutes they finally entered the restaurant and got a table.

Peggy, the waitress, came over to their table.

"Welcome to Ruby Tuesday. I'm Peggy and I'll be serving you."

"Well, aren't you a pretty little thing?" Samuel said.

Peggy smiled.

Elizabeth gritted her teeth and said, "Why don't you tell her about your erectile dysfunction, Sammy?"

Samuel smiled, "Ah, yes, my erectile dysfunction," he said as he pointed to his wife, "her name is Elizabeth!"

I'm going to try a new series where the title of every drabble is a Rolling Stones song title.

I don't know if you have them in the UK or other parts of the world, but we have a chain of restaurants here in the USA called Ruby Tuesday.

Haha haha! I didn’t see that coming... none of them did! A brilliant start to what promises to be a great series, Christopher! No Ruby Tuesdays over here that I’m aware of, yet. A good name for a restaurant though.

Re The Stones, after Charlie had died, the BBC recently ran a programme on The Rolling Stones at the BBC. It was great with some very old vintage performances. Not sure if you still subscribe to Britbox, but it’s very likely to go to that channel.

Now imagining what the next drabble titles will be!😁

Thanks, Neville. I researched it and found that there was a Ruby Tuesday in London but it closed down in 2016. I also saw they have them in many other places like Canada, Hong Kong, Egypt and India! I told you I learn a lot from being on this site. I had no idea they were in that many other countries.

I recently re-subscribed to BritBox so I'll see if they have it.

    I missed this, Sorry Christopher!
    A yummy place!
But due to pandemic they shut most outlets and also the salad bar filed bankruptcy.
