Goin' To Church
Sunday morning at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Songs had been sung, collection plate had been passed, and the preacher was about to start his sermon. But a member of the church, usually only there in spirit, decided to show up that morning.
The Devil, in all his satanic splendor, burst through the doors, smoke trailing behind. The entire congregation, including the preacher, ran out screaming.
All except one man in the front pew. The Devil approached and said, "You aren't scared of me?"
"No," the man replied softly.
"Why not?"
The man grinned, "You've obviously never met my mother-in-law!"
