"Sounds like a real mess," I said.

"Oh, it gets worse," she said. "He ran into some old friends up there and before long they were pulling an armed robbery. He got caught and did five years in the Oregon State Penitentiary."

"Good grief," I said as Harrigan shook his head. He couldn't understand any more than I could how someone could make such a colossal screw-up of their life.

"And this past year he's been trying to figure out a way to get Gallagher off his back," she said.

"So...when did he come back to town?" Harrigan asked...

    Well, this was my 1900th drabble and I didn't even know it until after I had posted all the drabbles for this evening.

    Many congratulations, Christopher. It’s quite an achievement and I’m so glad you came back to the fold. I feel rather guilty that right now you seem to be the only one of us who’s really productive. And a great production too, if I may say so...

    Thanks, Neville. I was confused when you rightly pointed out that I had misnumbered some that this wasn't actually my 1900th but the numbering didn't have any bearing on how many drabbles I'd done. I had a bad night and haven't been up long so I'm still a little foggy!

    Maybe we can get things going here again soon.
