Rabid
Berserko the Clown's house was in a decent neighborhood. His biggest problem was his next-door-neighbor, Butch.
Butch had a Rottweiler that barked constantly. Berserko had repeatedly asked Butch to silence the dog.
Fed up, Berserko took three tabs of Alka-Seltzer and a bottle of hot sauce into Butch's backyard, dumping them into the dog's water bowl and watching it fizz. He saw the dog take a drink, then foam at the mouth and squeal from the hot sauce.
Five minutes later, back at home watching Lassie, Berserko heard a scream and a shotgun blast from next door.

I'm assuming they have Alka-Seltzer in the UK. If not, it's for stomach ailments. A big round tab that when you drop into a glass of water fizzes and makes it like soda water.

Great drabble Christopher. I know a bit about Alka Seltzer, having done the ads for an aspirin brand in my advertising career. Alka Seltzer is a 'buffer' and, I believe, its pH remains unchanged whatever noxious stuff it finds in your guts. So it settles your innards. Thus it is great for hangovers... but you wouldn't know about them personally I guess?

But I have had some experience with Alka-Seltzer due to stomach aches from other things, like an overeating hangover.
