There was silence on the other end. I think that shocked him.
"Very good," he said after gaining his composure, "then you shouldn't have any trouble getting here. And make it fast. The clock is ticking, Jake."

It's funny because I have to have Jake find a payphone every time he needs to call someone one. I remember those days and it was very inconvenient.
