Tiki Moon #185

She started laughing so hard it sounded like she dropped the phone.

"Come on, Jake! Stop making me laugh," she said, giggling throughout.

"I'm not joking, Deborah," I said solemnly.

The laughing stopped. I think it hit her all at once that her husband and the second-in-command at her company were not only in collusion to have her killed but were also lovers. She started sobbing.

"Deborah, I'm sorry. I thought you'd wanna know."

She sniffled and said, "I do want to know, Jake. I just didn't see this coming. I can't believe I didn't see this coming."

Thanks Neville. It's not displaying properly on my laptop (it's a silhouette of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson for anyone that doesn't know or can't see it properly like me :) )

Oh I forgot, I've changed it again. Cat pic, can't beat 'em.

Think I might put up my wedding photo next time (it’s a laugh), provided I don’t lose my logo visual. Or my very late and very much lamented TR2. 😭. My exploits in it are a mini-series in their own right (in between and not slowing down Fedeltà of course). It was the car I had when I first met the lovely, eventually to be Mrs Hunt. She found it chilly!🥶

I'm looking forward to that particular mini-series Neville. Not sure what Mrs H will say about it though...

I must have missed all that. Drew's pic looks like some sort of turntable to me.

I never even thought about changing mine. I think I'll just stick with ole Salvador Dali.

Oh so it's changed! Mine still appears to be the cat. Yes, it's now my pride and joy, my baby... my turntable lol (a Michel Gyrodec... sometimes I think I could just watch it running without an lp on... sad, but true lol)

It certainly looks like a good one. Mine is just a cheap one that hooks up to my computer so I can rip vinyl to MP3s.

I'm afraid to say I'm a bit of a hi fi nerd and I love "boys toys" when it comes to music. It's MP3 for when I'm out and about, a mini system for everyday listening (which I rarely use these days tbh) and my hi fi setup for some proper listening at home.
"Proper listening" usually starts some of Deep Purple's Made In Japan, almost always ends with some Gaslight Anthem or Shawn Phillips and has anything from psychedlia to classical in the middle. All washed down with a few bottles of some sort of real ale, the darker the better :)

It's mostly MP3 listening for me, with headphones. The only time I sit and listen to music anymore is when I'm writing. The rest of the time I have to squeeze in listening to music while I'm mobile.

And 60's psychedelia is my all-time favorite subgenre of rock and roll. There's far more of that genre on my computer than any other.
