Jake Randolph Origins #255

by

Heidi smirked, "What's the view like from that ivory tower of yours, Mr. Randolph?"

I let that one pass. "So your father died and you hatch a plan to get back at everyone that you think wronged him? And you think that somehow justifies committing murder? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?"

She either didn't understand that expression or chose to ignore it.

"I was hoping to create a triangle that wiped out you, Russo and Rivers."

"Rivers? Your father and Col. Hall are the ones that double-crossed him!"

She wasn't thinking rationally at all...

The three Rs... Russo, Rivers and Randolph. Sounds like a good name for an enterprise. I can almost imagine the logo! (Create?)

It does sound like a law firm. That never occurred to me.

And, yes, I missed the e on the end of create. I fixed it. I don't know why autocorrect didn't change it. It's always meddling in my affairs when I don't want it to and when I actually need it it's M.I.A.

Autocorrect...a mind of its own. Sorry about the create comment, but I felt you would want to fix it (and it shows I'm reading your work properly) I'm never quite sure whether to point things I notice out to fellow drablrs. Personally I would want to know and I'm a sad, slow reader who reads every owrd (word!) often over and over :-)

No, I appreciate it. I usually proofread better than that.
