Heidi looked frightened as she saw the swarm of armed men all around her. Sharkey's men all stood with their weapons on her but were holding back on pulling the trigger.
"Heidi, listen to me. These guys aren't playing. They will shoot you. Just lower the weapon," I said, trying to defuse the situation.
She lowered the gun, pointing it at the ground by her feet. Sharkey's men relaxed a little but still had their guns trained on her.
"Tell me what this is all about, Heidi," I said softly.
She looked up at the sky, "My father. What else?"
