Jay Peterson stood beside his wife Linda, holding her hand as she underwent an ultrasound.
"Well," Doctor Murphy said smiling. "It's a boy!"
The Petersons looked at each other, then at the doctor.
"Dr. Murphy," Linda said, "we're not assigning a gender to our child. We're going to let the child make the decision."
Dr. Murphy shook his head, "You're not assigning a gender to the child and neither am I. God did that, or evolution, or fate or whatever you believe in."
"We believe the child should make that decision," she said.
Dr. Murphy retired a short time later.

Love it! We have personal experience of this non-assignment of gender. There could be no doubt of the gender of the children despite attempts to give them the choice. They chose nature's crude, but distinctive, indicator. What a load of bollocks! (and lack of).

I agree. I think it's ridiculous, but of course in this day and age if you don't subscribe to every whack job philosophy and new age nonsense that comes down the pike you're deemed a "hater," and they sure don't accept your right to believe what you want, although they bitch and moan for you to accept their right to believe what they want. Sorry, I'll jump down off the soapbox now.
