Parlez-vous Français?
When I was in school I took a semester of French. I don't know what for. I didn't ever intend to go to France. Maybe it was because it was a romantic sounding language and the girls melted when it was spoken.
I just knew I would ace the class. My dad spoke French. At least, he knew a lot of French words. Every time he would yell something at people in traffic, he would turn to me and say "Pardon my French."
None of those words came up during that semester.
I think my dad was full of merde.
