Once I was able to get up and walk, Nurse Peggy took me out to the tables on the outside of the hospital. It was good to feel the warmth of the sun again. Peggy gave me the rundown on what happened while I was out of the world. Diana brought me in, nearly dead from a loss of blood, not to mention a bullet lodged dangerously close to my right lung.
