Diana nodded her head, tears falling from her eyes like raindrops in a thunderstorm. "Yes. So... I threw my bags in the car... and took off."

Vic actually laughed a little, coughing up another wad of blood. "Including your... bowling ball bag. The one... I was using to take Lanny... the rest of his money... that's funny..."
