"Wait, Mr. Lanyard!" I yelled louder than I intended. "There's no need for this. I know where your money is."

Lanyard never took his eye off of his gun sight as he stared down the barrel at Vic, who actually looked frightened.

"Well then, Mr. Randolph, you can take me to my money once I'm finished here. But business is business. I had a deal with Victor and he didn't hold up his end of it. Now, you were wrong about me, Mr. Randolph. I do have a code. I say what I mean and I mean what I say."
