They met in space. An inter-species relationship. A man on a space reconnaissance mission discovered a new Earth-like planet. His radio transmission was jammed, so he could not call it in. He figured he might as well investigate the planet and land while he fixed his transmitter. He found the planet was accommodating to his respiration needs and got out of his ship to look around. An alien came out and greeted him. She had long legs, a small torso and a bird-like head with several eyes. He would be perfect for her zoo of unusual creatures.
