Spider Farm

Fear #12

"THE SPIDER FARM IS OPEN!"
These are the last words that will come out of that PA system. They are already taking over. The black mass spread slowly from one wing to another, those who survived made it to the safe wing in time, but not with our sustaining several bites. The chemestry lab was already overtaken so fighting back was out of the question. All the students began to file out, the mass of spiders slowly taking over the halls. They had always know that putting the spider farm under the school was a terrible idea. Not many survived.

Running

Fear #11

Running and running. Turning around endless corners, then doing it again. Stopping once he was about to start breathing hard. The tracking chip in his neck was only powered by heartbeats, so by keeping his heart-rate down, he could make the signal weaker and keep he guards off himself. Back to running. Barefoot and cold. Feet slapping on the freezing, moist floor, he could smell freedom, the fresh air that only is sensed when having been in confinement for a long time. He was almost home-free, and he allowed himself to sprint. He could feel the freedom already.

Plane

Fear #10

Lightning shook the plane, tearing off a piece of our wing, smashing into the side of the craft. The oxygen was quickly sucked out of the plane, sucking out several people as well. I scrambled to the back, clinging to anything I could, trying to stay awake with the little oxygen in the air, trying not to be sucked out into the air, thousands of feet above the ground. I grabbed a parachute, and let go of everything but it, flying out the open hole, into the vastness of the air. I scrambled to get the pack on. Finally safe.

Black Water

Fear #9

The bell rang, starting the beginning hectic sprint for the closest building. The pandemonium of the town square was quickly silenced by the command of the town officer's shouting. The black water from the ocean came slowly, seeping into the small ocean side town. Dark being began to rise out of the black liquid. The demonic creatures knocked on each door trying to coax out the cowering people inside. The people had learned long, long ago that the evil creatures were not to be trusted. Those who tried to run were immediately sucked down, never to be seen ever again.

Adventures in the Darkness

Fear #8

Jason sat on the ground, listening to the tick, tick of his clock, waiting for Micah, the large scaled beast, with soft, white glowing eyes and soft, glowing light coming from deep within its being. Jason decided that Micah was like a large glowing dog. Fierce on the outside, but warm and fuzzy on the inside. They had seen many people on their exploration of the dark world. There was no light left. The people cowered and hid in corners, barred windows, and locked doors, all hiding from that ever present fear of darkness. Jason was all right. He had Micah.

Lurking

Fear #7

The sneaky, eightlegged beast, hid in the shadow dimension, waiting for an unsuspecting traveler to come along so it could gobble it up. It was a place of, you guessed it, shadows. No one can see you or hear you. The spider waited. A man, at least the spider thought it was a man, for it could only see the shadow, came walking down the narrow mountain path. The spider came up behind the man while in the shadow dimension, and quickly changed to the normal one. The man, now seeing the enormous shadow behind him, screamed. It was over.

Dark

Fear #6

Isaac was in bed, frantically searching his bedroom for the shadow of something he had just seen. He never believed in the whole "monster under the bed" thing, but he did now. It was in the room with him. He could feel it breathing down his neck, as his heart quickened pace, and his hairs rose. He turned, and to his horror the beast was there, saliva dripping from its yellow teeth, its large, glowing red eyes. Isaac, overcome with fear, screamed and the creature bellowed back. It was all over, isaac knew, as the beast opened its ghastly jaws.

The Thing in the Corner

Fear #6

Its always there. We never see it completely, but its there all the same. That thing we see in the dark corners as we turn our heads, that silhouette of something that watches us, never visible when we look again, only in the corner of our eyes, probably a figment of our imaginations, but maybe not. The fear of falling asleep is too great for some, because of that thing in the corner. It watches and waits for us to stop moving, and when we finally stop, it comes and takes our life away. That is what it is, Death.

A Start to Adventures with Micah

Fear #5

Jason started to like the creature. The creature provided light when it was needed and Jason provided love for the creature. Jason decided that it needed a name. Caleb? No. Asher? Nah. Jason decide to name it Micah. Jason then decided it was time to explore the world once again. He picked up the few items he owned and especially grabbed his clock, bound it to his back pack, so he could always hear it, keeping him sane. He opened the metal door, walked down the short, dark hallway, up the cold, concrete steps, and into the old, dark world.

Creepy Crawlies: part 2

Fear #4

Logan swatted away the little beasts left and right as they jumped at him. He was on the ground, writhing, trying to escape the spiders. He yelled but nobody came. He got up and ran out the door. The spiders followed, scuttling and jumping, crawling all over each other, just to get to Logan. He ran down the stairs, around the corner, and through the door, running away from the house as fast as he could. They kept coming. He had escaped that terrible nightmare.

Friends in the Dark

Fear #3

tick, tick, Jason was focusing on the sound of the clock. It kept him sane. It kept him calm. It was still dark. The door opened on his concrete box. Something was inside with him. Was it a friend or a foe? The thing in the darkness was getting closer, it's soft footsteps made almost no noise on the concrete. Jason spoke, "Who's there?" Nothing spoke back. It came closer. "Stop!" Jason yelled. It did. It opened it's mouth, and there was light. The creature was lifelike, but with scales. "Don't hurt me" said Jason "I won't." said the beast.

Creepy Crawlies

Fear #2

They came. Thousands upon thousands of them. Covering The house with hairy legs and tiny bodies. The little beasts came, and they kept coming. Mason woke up with them everywhere. He screamed in despair, as his only fear came to get him. Spiders. Mason stopped moving. The spiders stopped also. They just stood there, all seeming to be staring at him waiting for his next move. Suddenly the spiders started growing. They now varied from the size of his finger nail, to the size of his whole hand. He made a leap for the door, but they were too fast...

Madness

Fear #1

Tink. The light went out. Jason knew it was coming, but not when. The last light of the world. The sun had gone out, the bulb was gone. No more light. No more light. The thought went through his mind over and over until he went insane. He struggled around his dark concrete box. The thought warping his mind with every second. He stopped and listened, he heard the soft tick, tick of his clock. His only possession that kept him attached to time itself. He began to reclaim his sanity. He was calm. He was sane.
