The Bunting flutters in the breeze against my little window to the world.

I forget the last time I went out.
I can't
but I get meals delivered
and a nurse comes morning and night.
And on the whole
I don't open the door
because, well, you hear such stories.

You know.

A girl with sparkly wings waves
a small act
but
then they come.

With a plate.

Sandwiches.
Smiles and
a paper crown.

A bustling man moves my chair to the door,

their tables nearer
and we sing
laugh
they let me join in.

I'll remember that day forever.

Sad! I'd best not let my ma-in-law read this.

I saw loads of sparkly winged girls today in a marathon 2.5 hour show in K upon T, including one 6 yr old little sparkler from our family. Exhausting but greatly uplifting too.

Aww. Lovely! This was today's drabble until I wrote 'Monday', I don't know how to change the publishing times once you've scheduled them so had repost then forgot to delete original version (old lady brain) Deleted now- thank you! X

I've tried to change the publishing times myself, Lisa. The only solution I found and used was to delete the whole drabble, but thinking back, I am not sure if I could do so before it appeared. Trial and error called for, I guess :-)
