Instant Music

I've never played like that before. I was tired, the wind band tour catching up with me on a Sunday. In the interval, I had an instant coffee, needing some energy. And I'm not sure what that woman put in it. It was stronger than anything I've ever drunk before. Afterwards, I flew through the Holst, on fire, one of my best performances. I let rip and went for it, in the moment, and I understood why he wrote the planets, for it felt like I was touching stars, soaring through the skies, alive, free, happy, and it was incredible.
