Reading is an open door, a portal to a world of words, and wonder. Please don't shut it on me. But with printed text, that's what you do. And I struggle to open that door. magnifier skidding across pages to keep up, and ending up exhausted halfway.

But with Audible, that door swings wide open. The world of words welcomes me, invites me, accepts me. Stories dance on my ear, no need to struggle. And I can experience it more intimately, part of the narrative too. I wish more people would see, would keep the door open, but they won't.

My sister loves Audible. She's not visually impaired, but she doesn't have much time for reading anymore so she listens to books in the car a lot.

    'Stories dance' is beautiful!
Have you heard of the 100 Word Stories podcast? Prompt every week - anyone can write 100 words and record them for the next podcast. It's nothing to do with me but I do join in with a story when I can. Worth a listen or a join in! xx
