A World of Nonsense
To me, the world is full of nonsense. There are so many things that just don’t make sense, that don't add up.
Like venus flytraps, for example. The Son Doong Cave in Vietnam. The disappearance of socks. Vanishing pens. Petrichor. The colours of autumn. The language of dentists. Opticians tests. The maze of Moorfields. The depth of Loch Ness. Mayan temples. Hieroglyphs. The platypus. The contrabass flute. Pineapples. Brain fog. Gemstones. Tube station layouts. Beetroot.
I know you will say they all have answers, reasons, explanations. But I’m rather fond of nonsense. For between non and sense, magic still lives.

Thanks everyone. This was for Retreat Wests Monthly Micro competition, but I didn't win but still thought was a fun piece. The contrabass flute always baffles me that someone thought it was a good idea to fold it over, so it went on this silly list along with other things that boggle anf fascinate me.
