I've always wanted to visit Stonehenge. There's something so magical, so mystical, so majestic about those eternal stones. They fascinate me, enthrall me, call me.
I gaze at the pictures, longing to walk amongst those timeless stones, to ignite my soul, and restore my creativity, to fill my mind with wonder and peace.
I want to go. My heart whispers I should. My mind whispers I could. It's not far. I'll be nearby. Its only a train, and a bus. And with the mention of an audio guide, my doubts disappear, and I book a ticket. I will be there.

I would love to visit Stonehenge too. I will, eventually.
Enjoy the adventure, Sarah.

Hope it is an interesting visit Sarah. I nearly visited the broadly similar stone circle in Avebury once to see if the stones were as scary in real life as they were in a seventies sci fi series called 'Children Of The Stones (Worth checking out for the terrifying yet beautiful music alone.) But I bottled out. :-)

Thank you, yes I'm really excited. I will be nearby stonehenge in the summer for a flash fiction festival and had an extra day so decided to do it. Someone did suggest Avebury, but it looks a little too far for this time, maybe next year. That TV show sounds interesting will have to check it out
