Poetry
I'd forgotten how fun poetry could be. How each one turns out different. How you can play with language, and enjoy it. How you can make music, just with words.
I used to do it all the time. And now I remember why. I stopped, for years, convinced I couldn't do it again. And now, I wonder why. I wonder why I let those old monsters of my mind try to take this from me. They won't do so again. I will stand up, and fight, for every stanza. I will be a poet, or whatever I want to be.

Ditto what Neville said!
I was never a poet, but in my younger days I had a band and used to write song lyrics all the time. Looking back at some of them now I think quite a few could stand alone as poetry.

I'll dig some out. I used some in that Goth band drabble series I was working on that got shelved. I need to get back to that, and continue working on the new Jake story. It never ends!

Poetry will always be my first love. I could always say it better in rhyme :-D Though I am more a 'free verse'' poet when I write in English, I can write ''proper'' sonnets in French, LOL.
