Once, I was the mighty Odin. The jólfaðr. The Old Father. The One Eyed. The Yule Father.
I was celebrated. Honoured. Respected.
But my part was taken by a jolly man in red, invading from across the sea. He killed my friend, the god of midwinter and merry making.
And now, he will die too.

I finally reach his house, trekking through ice and snow. I don my disguise, one I never tire of, and he lets me in. No one can refuse an old man. I follow him inside, my blade concealed. At last, I will have my revenge.

Almost as disturbing as William Shatners' rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, (Worth a google if you've not experienced it. ;-)
