The Camel Road
My sister once said she saw a camel, on that stretch of road. A purple two humped camel, standing in a field. Each time we went by there, we looked for it again. But it was never there.
Recently, our wind band tour bus drove past the same spot. As we stopped at a petrol station, I looked for it. Just in case. But it wasn't there.
Back on the bus, I wondered about the camel, and if it had ever been there at all.
And then I saw it, standing in a field, purple body shining in the sun.

I’m a bit jealous. I’ve never seen a two-humped purple camel in my life, and seeing that this is a true story, I’m going to start looking out for one. I wonder what makes the camel purple... could it be that it’s on an exclusive diet of bluebells and beetroot I wonder? A fun drabble Sarah.😁

Thanks for your kind comments. It was like this model camel painted bright purple parked near a road. Think it was probably someones idea of a prank. But i like the idea of it being purple by eating bluebells.
